Cascara is the dried coffee cherry that is usually discarded in the processing of coffee. However, recently farms have saved cascara for export. This cascara is from the Caranavi region of Bolivia and comes from small holder organic farms. To prepare cascara, steep a small amount in hot water for 3-4 minutes to create a sweet, caffeinated tea.
